The Wilkerson family is proud of our support of Lifestyles of Maryland and their efforts to provide shelter and services for homeless individuals and family's including food pantries, temporary shelter, clothing closet, emergency housing/utilities, transportation, employment, prescription services, SafeNights and more. The Lifestyles of Maryland Southern Crossing project involves the renovation of the old White House Motel on US-301 to create a one-of-a-kind facility providing short-term housing, along with career and life skills training, to homeless individuals and families in Southern Maryland. It’s an ambitious project, and you are invited to help through direct donations, contributed services and volunteerism. We invite you to learn more and consider supporting Lifestyles of Maryland today. Supporting the Humane Society of Charles County is a natural choice for our family. In honor of our two best furry friends... Gus, our Project Manager, and Koda, our Director of Operations. You can find Gus, Koda and Paul working together measuring job sites, double-checking quality control and sharing a lot of paws-a-tivity with our homeowners, team members and friends. The Humane Society of Charles County provides a wide-range of services from adoption, to veterinarian services, training and support, boarding, licensing, and more. August 2024: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved three-legged dog, Gus.
Gus was more than just a pet to us; he was our dedicated project manager on all our construction sites. Despite his physical challenge, Gus's spirit was unstoppable. He brought joy, love, and an unmatched work ethic to our team, always inspecting our progress and providing moral support. From the first blueprint to the final nail, Gus was there every step of the way. His presence turned our worksites into a home, filled with wagging tails and endless determination. Rest in peace, dear Gus. Your legacy will continue in every project we complete and every heart you've touched. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
